CTI participates in Voluntary Co-operation Programme (VCP) of WMO, aimed at international collaboration by training meteorological personnel at various levels.
The activities of RMTC are periodically assessed for quality and contents, by an independent assessor, deputed by WMO. Dr. Robert Riddaway visited RMTC, India (at Pune and New Delhi) during November 26 – December 5, 2002. He was apprised of various activities of RMTC, about which he was very appreciative as evidenced by his communication to WMO.
The faculty members are deputed to participate in various training programmes abroad and within the country, aimed at enhancing their training skills.
